Embarking on your journey at Milpark involves two key stages. First, if you haven’t been admitted to a qualification yet, you’ll need to apply for admission or pre-admission (if applicable) to your chosen qualification. Once admitted, you’ll proceed to the second stage of the process, which is to register for your modules for either the academic year, cycle, or semester. If your qualification spans more than one year or you can’t register for all your modules at once, you’ll have opportunities to register for further modules throughout the academic year depending on your mode of study, or when registration opens for the next academic year.
Please note that PGDA/CTA or Bridging (BCTA) students need to first apply for pre-Admission here.
More information about this process can be found on the SoPA School page.

Milpark Education offers a number of bursaries to students annually, based on need and academic performance. Bursaries are one of the ways in which we both support our students and assist industry in achieving South Africa’s transformation agenda.
The Bursary Programme aims to produce quality graduates drawn from groups who may not previously have had access to a sector or area of study. Bursaries are provided to previously disadvantaged candidates who meet our criteria.
Bursary Applications for the 2025 Academic Year are open:
Milpark is providing students with another chance to apply for a bursary if they miss the initial closing date of 10 December 2024. Applications received after this date will be considered at the next closing date on 15 June 2025. Please note that mid-year bursary applications will only be reviewed if there are sufficient funds remaining after processing the first round of applications. Additionally, bursary funds will only cover the cost of modules for the 2025 academic year. Students wishing to apply for bursaries for 2026 modules will need to do so at the end of the 2025 academic year, once the new timetables are available.

Milpark is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). Our qualifications are accredited by the Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC) of the Council on Higher Education (CHE). Our qualifications are also registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
Milpark provides flexible learning options through distance learning online (DLO), and distance learning (DL). Our fully online, holistic approach focuses on work-integrated learning, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application to ensure that graduates are work-ready.
DLO is ideal for students who prefer a more guided approach to distance learning and have daily access to a stable internet connection. DL provides greater flexibility for self-motivated learners who can pace their studies independently. It is also advantageous for students who may have limited internet connectivity.
DLO is a fully digital learning experience. Students in this mode access all their study materials, including textbooks, through Milpark’s online learning platform. DLO provides a highly interactive and engaging environment, with regular live online classes, discussion forums, and collaborative projects.
DL offers a more traditional approach to distance learning. Students in this mode can still access online resources but mostly rely on physical textbooks and study guides. DL students also benefit from lecturer support, but interactions are less frequent compared to the DLO mode.
Student Support Services can be contacted through the online helpdesk for help with coursework questions, technical support, and administrative guidance. This secure portal enables you to submit and track queries for prompt assistance.
