The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing strategic direction on educational technology, fostering relationships with our EdTech partners, and being deeply involved in the operational aspects of educational technology to enhance teaching, learning, assessments, and academic support services across Milpark Education.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing strategic direction on educational technology, fostering relationships with our EdTech partners, and being deeply involved in the operational aspects of educational technology to enhance teaching, learning, assessments, and academic support services across Milpark Education.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for instructional technology that aligns with Milpark’s educational goals and priorities. Collaborate with business and academic leaders to identify and priorities technology needs.

Technology Selection:

Conduct thorough assessments of emerging educational technologies, learning management systems (LMS), and other digital tools to identify solutions that align with our pedagogical goals. Collaborate with the Head of Learning Development and Innovation, Chief IT Officer, schools, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather input on technology needs and preferences. Evaluate the scalability, usability, and accessibility of learning technologies to ensure they meet the diverse needs of students and staff. Establish a robust evaluation process, considering both the technical aspects and the potential impact on teaching and learning outcomes.
