Once a PGDA/CTA Graduate, now an Assistant Lecturer

Luyanda Malevu’s education began at Crawford North Coast in uMhlanga to excelling in his undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town (UCT). Luyanda discovered his love for accounting during a Grade 8 EMS class, where his teacher inspired him to pursue the subject, and during Grade 11 he secured a contract with PwC.

When Luyanda started his PGDA/CTA journey at Milpark Education, he discovered an environment that was entirely different, “It felt like as an individual, you were truly cared for,” he shares. This comment has remained a constant for Lyuanda, he explains, “Getting that much closer to the dream of becoming a chartered accountant is a transformation that words can’t fully capture.”

Today, Luyanda is an assistant lecturer for The School of Professional Accounting. His placement as a trainee lecturer was an intentional decision by Milpark Education to position alumni in roles where they can give back.
