I am thrilled to share with you the exciting developments at Milpark School of Financial Services as we celebrate the successful completion of our first semester as a newly established school. The journey so far has been nothing short of remarkable, and I am pleased to say that our team culture is stronger than ever, aligned to our core values, and driven by a shared commitment to excellence.

In this brief update, I am delighted to outline key changes in our leadership team that have seamlessly propelled us into this new era. We firmly believe that continuity in leadership and institutional knowledge is pivotal in delivering a seamless academic experience for our students. And as we embrace growth and opportunity, we are fortunate to have a talented bench of leaders within our School.

Pietro Odendaal assumes the role of Deputy Chief Academic Officer

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Pietro Odendaal for stepping into the newly created role of Deputy Chief Academic Officer. Pietro's wealth of experience and dedication to academic excellence will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the growth and success of our institution.

Brunhilde Gerber appointed as Deputy Head of School

We are pleased to announce Brunhilde Gerber's promotion to the role of Deputy Head of School. Drawing from her prior experience, Brunhilde will now take on responsibilities similar to Pietro's former role, with a particular focus on being the Academic Head of our School. Her exceptional leadership and commitment to academic excellence make her the perfect fit for this role.

Jurgen Moller as HOD for Investment Management

We are delighted to welcome Jurgen Moller as the new Head of the Investment Management department. Jurgen's vast financial services experience and institutional knowledge gained during his years at Milpark Education will allow me the opportunity to concentrate more keenly on strategic initiatives for our School, as for the first half of the year I have been caretaking this responsibility too.

Looking ahead, we are excited to launch the new Postgraduate Diploma in Risk Management qualification, welcoming admissions for the first cohort beginning in 2024. This programme aims to equip our students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the dynamic landscape of risk management within the financial services sector.

In line with our commitment to fostering thought leadership and industry insights, we have launched the School of Financial Services Thought Leadership webinar series. The success of our first two events has been truly inspiring, and we eagerly anticipate the upcoming session planned for September, promising further engaging discussions and valuable takeaways.

As we embark on Semester 2 of 2023, we are excited about the collective effort to educate and empower the future leaders of the financial services industry. Our commitment to providing excellence in education remains unwavering, and we look forward to the continued growth and success of Milpark School of Financial Services.
