The purpose of this course is to equip students with foundational knowledge and skills in the area of corporate governance. Students will explore how the values, beliefs and ethos a company subscribes to should be reflected in the practices of the organisation, and how decision-making models drive appropriate objectives.
This programme is designed to provide students with essential knowledge and skills in corporate governance, ensuring they understand the importance of ethical practices in business operations.
Students will explore the various facets of governance and how these relate to corporate governance; the need for good corporate governance, and its application through various codes and acts; corporate governance in relation to risk management; and the requisite leadership to drive good governance.
This course has open enrolment, but proficiency in English is required.
English Literacy at NQF Level 5 or equivalent is recommended. Foreign applicants whose first language is not English are required to provide proof of proficiency in English prior to admission to the qualification.
